Create Backups the Reliable Way with Macrium Reflect Free PDF Print E-mail

Creating backups of your computer’s hard drives is a vital component of your security and business continuity. Having timely backups can save you the trouble from losing important data that could range from a minor nuisance of having to start over and rebuilding your system from scratch to crippling your business.

 

Fortunately, creating backup images of your hard drive and restoring it is made easy by Macrium Reflect Free.

1 MacriumReflectinstaller_thumb After downloading, click on the downloaded file. This will start the installer. If you are using Windows Vista or Windows 7, you would have to allow the program to run.

Read and click the I Agree button to agree to the License Agreement, then click on Next.
selectinstallationfolder_thumb Specify the installation folder where you would want to put the files in. Click on Next.
confirminstallation_thumb This would take you to a window where you will be asked to confirm your installation. Click on Next to do so.
installingMacriumReflect_thumb Wait for the installer to finish. After the installation, this window will appear:
installationcomplete_thumb Click on Close to complete the installation. Look for this icon to launch Macrium Reflect.
licensekeybox_thumb A free license key will be supplied in the appropriate box, click on OK then wait for the following confirmation:
licensesuccessfullyapplied_thumb Clicking OK would bring forth a window confirming your installation is finished.
backupicon_thumb To start backing up your hard drive or a partition of it, click on the Backup icon.
createbackupwizard_thumb This will launch the Create Backup Wizard.
partitionselection_thumb Select the partition you want to back up. Click on Next.
backupdestination_thumb Choose where you would want to put your backup image in and click the Next button.
backupsummary_thumb You will be presented with a summary of the backup.
backupsaveoptions_thumb If everything is in order, click on Finish. You will then be shown with additional options.
backupprocess_thumb Click on OK and the backup process will start.
